World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential element of enhancing your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enchantments.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional benefits. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, or gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it can be replaced with another however the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item itself.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
When the weapon reaches its maximum upgrade it can be reforged to add different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied at once and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage a weapon can cause.
In general, it's best to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can improve your armor defense, and then those secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other gear. This can help increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of specific pieces of armor trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, or in loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. Most armor types can be upgraded, but some items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
The majority of armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's defense base or strength. However, certain upgrade components can offer significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
Some upgrades provide special abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can prove useful in combat. For instance they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, for instance reducing the amount of damage taken while wearing armor or adding the ability to deflect attacks.
Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item could require multiple tries. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77, and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each location has a powerful fair who can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Despite popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. Some armors offer a significant boost to the reduction of damage from poison spells, curses, magic or fire. This makes them beneficial for certain types of builds. There are other ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to lower the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
When you put a potion into a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock higher levels of potency.
The potion also has a custom color code that the player can pick via /give, and that can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, a common thick and awkward potions now have a fresh texture for brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness have been added. There are lingering potions available that can be made with splash potions or dragon breath and a strong potion with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. It could also be a small banner that marks the lateen yard of a boat. item upgrade can also refer to a gilded trinket on the mast of a ship.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. This trinket, at its current level makes all kinds of Xx of mimics more common and gives every floor an probability of Y% that it has an ebony-colored replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to influence the dungeon and increase the likelihood of producing water and grass. This trinket at the current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It does not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor or items that are produced to help solve hazards rooms.
Although it appears to be a normal newt's eye, this mysterious object appears to affect your vision in ways other than simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, boosts the health benefits gained from drinking healing potions and wells of life by X%, and gives you mind-sight on enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you have a trinket that needs to be upgraded, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as many times as you like but it will always be able to produce a new effect.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by a small amount.
